The Hawaii Branch of The International Dyslexia Association (HIDA)

HIDA - the Hawai'i Branch of the International Dyslexia Association was formed to increase
public awareness of dyslexia in the State of Hawai'i. We have been serving individuals with
dyslexia, their families, and professionals in this community since 1986.

We can help you:

Understand dyslexia—what it is, how to diagnose it, and what to do about it
Find helpful resources—testers, tutors, speakers, and a library of resources
Learn about local events—seminars, conferences, and teacher trainings
Get to know HIDA—who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved
