    G. Emerson Dickman, attorney and president of the International Dyslexia Association based in Maryland, shared personal reflections and scientific fact regarding dyslexia on January 5, 2008 to an audience of educators and parents in Honolulu.   • Interview with Dr. Jack Horner: "The Dinosaur Guy"
    Between public appearances at UH Manoa in fall, 2004, world renowned paleontologist Dr. Jack Horner sat with some students at an outdoor picnic table and speculated playfully about genetically engineering a chicken to produce a velociraptor. Jack was invited to UH Manoa as one of 3 Distinguished Lecturers for the 2004-2005 year, where he “wowed” students, faculty, and their children with his enchanting and thought-provoking presentations about dinosaurs.
